Kana is a Japanese writing system that was developed in the Heian period (794-1185). Practice using a traditional Japanese brush and paper. Your lecturer will teach you how to move the brush correctly and how to achieve the fluent and artistic writing style of Kana calligraphy.

From a variety of options, choose one word to practice writing. As soon as you have mastery of your writing, you can write your word on a Japanese small fan or Shikishi (colored paper, message board).

During this experience, you will have the opportunity to tour a workshop where traditional textiles are produced. Green tea and sweets are also served!

The costs of taking a Kyudo lesson are usually very high. In this class, all the necessary equipment for Kyudo is prepared for you. All you need is passion and comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely!

In this beginner-friendly experience, learn the practice of Kyudo. This includes learning about the proper form, as well as the tools and techniques used. Explore the history of Kyudo and gain a better understanding of this traditional martial art.

Please note that our teacher provides hands-on guidance as he shows how to correctly take the proper stance and hold the bow.
