Test your skill and precision—if you hit the target 3 times out of 16 arrows, you’ll earn the honor of writing your name in traditional Japanese calligraphy, proudly displayed in our 160-year-old dojo. Train in a historic setting with expert instruction, and enjoy a fully immersive experience with English-friendly guidance, making it accessible to all visitors.

What do I need to bring?

  • This is a walking tour, so please wear comfortable shoes suitable for extended walking.

please note

  • Wear Comfortable Clothing – Choose attire that allows for easy movement.
  • Avoid High-Exposure Clothing – Camisoles, mini-skirts, and tight skirts are not recommended. If wearing a skirt, you will need to sit in seiza (formal kneeling position).
  • Kimono-Friendly – You’re welcome to wear a kimono! Except hakama. you will sit with legs apart; otherwise, seiza will be required (support cushions available).
  • Remove Accessories for Safety – Glasses, dangling earrings, and long necklaces may need to be removed.
  • No Alcohol Allowed – Practicing under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited.
  • Follow these guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable Kyudo experience!
  • Please note that if there are unexpected circumstances(Sickness,Health issues of staff etc.) we may have to cancel or reschedule your reservation for full refund.
