Day 1 : Shibuya – Harajuku – Shinjuku

Make your first visit to the Hachiko Statue, which was built as a tribute to the devoted Hachiko. He and his master were an inseparable pair. Nowadays it is Tokyo’s most popular meeting point.

Cross Japan’s most well known and busiest pedestrian crossing in the world. Don’t forget to visit again during the evening to see the neon-lit streets.

The area is known as one of the foremost ‘architectural showcase’ streets, featuring a multitude of fashion flagship stores within a short distance of each other. Explore the trendy neighborhood of Harajuku, known for its vibrant street fashion and quirky shops. Walk the famous Takeshita Street, filled with unique fashion boutiques and cafes.

Relax in Yoyogi Park and visit the Meiji Shrine, a tranquil oasis in the heart of the city.

Get a beautiful panoramic view of Tokyo from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Buildings’ observation deck, available on the 45th floor. From the West direction and on a clear day, you might be able to spot Mt. Fuji in the distance.

Enjoy your time in Shinjuku Area and with shopping. Your guide will be there to assist you if you need help.
The tour can end here and you can continue shopping on your free time or continue to explore Tokyo’s nightlife. Please note that the next stops are not kid friendly.

Explore the narrow lanes lined with tiny bars and cozy izakaya’s, savoring traditional Japanese dishes and mingling with locals for an unforgettable evening of culinary delights and cultural immersion. +20

Day 2 : Imperial Palace – Ryogoku

Start your day at the Imperial Palace located on the former site of Edo castle and residence of Japan’s Imperial Family. Learn about its history while walking the castle complex, Japanese style garden, and double bridge.

Visit Ryogoku area, which is famous for its sumo culture. Sumo arena (Kokugikan), chanko nabe restaurants, sumo stables, and other sumo related facilities can be found. Here you will learn about the martial art of Sumo.

Witness the unique Goma Fire Rituals and explore the inside of Fukagawa Fudodo temple. A combination of modern and traditional aesthetics makes this temple a unique sight.

End your day by visiting Tokyo Skytree. With a height of 634 meters, Tokyo Skytree is Japan’s tallest building. Take in the tower’s stunning architecture, which is wonderfully illuminated at night.

Day 3 : Nikko

Leave Tokyo early and catch the train to Nikko. 

After arriving, you will see one of the city’s most famous attractions, the Shinkyo Bridge. Located along the path that leads up to Nikko’s world heritage sites, this fine red bridge makes for a beautiful photo opportunity. Make your first stop here and admire the beauty of this bridge up close.

Make your way to the Toshogu Shrine next. This shrine is dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa Shogunate that ruled Japan for over 250 years until 1868. Set in a dense forest, the multiple buildings of this shrine complex are known for their lavish decorations.

Visit the most famous and one of three most beautiful waterfalls in Nikko, the Kegon Falls. The waterfall is located in Nikko National Park. Enjoy the nature and beauty of the area and observe the waterfall from the designated observation platform.

In the evening hike around lake Chuzenji, Japan’s highest elevation natural lake, located in the mountains above the town of Nikko. The lake was created around 20,000 years ago during an eruption of Mt. Nantai.

Day 4 : Asakusa – Ueno Park – Akihabara

Make your way to Asakusa Area to visit Senso-ji Temple, one of Tokyo’s oldest and most significant temples. Walk through the large Kaminarimon gate and stroll through Nakamise-Dori.

See the famous Ueno Park, a former part of Kaneiji Temple, which was once the city’s largest and wealthiest temple during the Edo Period. Ueno Park now houses numerous museums and a zoological garden. It’s particularly popular in the spring, when cherry blossoms line the central pathway.

Known as Ameyoko, this lively open-air market originally started out as black market during the post-WWII times, where scarce products used to be sold. Take a look at the various shops and vendors selling a variety of goods.

Famous for its many electronic shops and Otaku cultures, Akihaba is the place to go for Anime, Maid Cafes and character figures. Stroll the area and enjoy a fun evening at an arcade game center.

Day 5 : Tsukiji Fish Market – Tea Ceremony – Tokyo Tower

Start you day early by visiting the famous Tsukiji Outer Market. Explore the tighly packed streets lined with streed food vendors, fresh local ingredients and kitchen utensils.

Indulge in some retail therapy in Ginza’s upscale shopping district and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the shopping street on the weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Learn about Japanese Tea Ceremony and and how to make green tea. Sample traditional Japanese sweets together with your freshly made tea.

Get an introduction to Kabuki theater through an exhibit of actual Kabuki props and costumes at the Kabuki-Za Theater.

Your last stop will be at the famous Tokyo Tower, which is modeled after the Eiffel Tower. At 333 meters high, it was the country’s tallest structure until Tokyo Skytree surpassed it.

The costs of taking a Kyudo lesson are usually very high. In this class, all the necessary equipment for Kyudo is prepared for you. All you need is passion and comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely!

In this beginner-friendly experience, learn the practice of Kyudo. This includes learning about the proper form, as well as the tools and techniques used. Explore the history of Kyudo and gain a better understanding of this traditional martial art.

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with our expert instructor, who may not speak flawless English but more than makes up for it with their passion and dedication. We provide top-notch English materials about the captivating art of Kyudo, ensuring a delightful experience as you bond with our teacher through the universal language of gestures and shared enthusiasm for this unique Japanese tradition.

Please ask our teacher if you have any questions or doubts. He is very friendly and good at teaching Kyudo!

Please note that our teacher provides hands-on guidance as he shows how to correctly take the proper stance and hold the bow.
